Built on publicly available information from ClinicalTrials.gov and strengthened by MDIC’s curated EFS resources, EFS Explorer brings key information about the U.S. early feasibility landscape into a centralized platform. Sponsors can use the tool to identify sites with relevant EFS experience, better understand prior and ongoing study activity, and make more informed decisions during site selection and early clinical planning.
The platform addresses a longstanding challenge in early-stage medical device development: identifying the right sites and investigators often requires sponsors to navigate fragmented information and time-intensive outreach. By making relevant EFS information easier to access and evaluate, EFS Explorer is designed to create greater transparency, and help sponsors move more efficiently from clinical strategy to study execution.
EFS Explorer gives sponsors a more focused view of the EFS landscape, helping teams assess site capabilities and study history, identify experienced investigators and institutions, and make evidence-informed site selection decisions.
