Veranex Appoints Morwan Choli, PhD as Senior Vice President of Global Regulatory Affairs and Quality

Raleigh, NC – MAY 27, 2025 – Veranex, the only truly comprehensive global MedTech services provider, proudly announces the appointment of Morwan Choli, PhD as Senior Vice President of Global Regulatory Affairs, Quality and Scientific Services (RQS). Choli brings a distinguished track record of leadership, innovation, and operational excellence in regulatory affairs and quality management across the global MedTech landscape. 

 With more than 15+ years of experience navigating complex regulatory environments, Dr. Choli joins Veranex after serving as Executive Vice President of Global Regulatory Affairs and Quality, and as Managing Director of the German manufacturing site for Occlutech, a leading provider of Class III structural heart implants. In this dual role, he led global registration strategies across more than 80 countries, directed quality systems for multiple production sites, and successfully secured the company’s first FDA Pre-Market Approval (PMA) through transformative organizational realignment. 

Prior to Occlutech, Choli held different senior leadership roles at TÜV Rheinland and TÜV SÜD in Tokyo (Japan), overseeing medical device quality inspection, regulatory, and testing operations across the APAC region, and in Munich (Germany), leading the active medical (AMI) department. His tenure saw substantial operational improvements, including revenue growth, efficiency gains, and significant reductions in customer complaints through strategic process redesign.
